Daisy Cake

This cake is made from scratch, but easy! And oh... so.... yummy!!  Give it a try!

4 eggs
2 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine

FROSTING
1- 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
3/4 cups butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup half and half cream
2 cups flaked coconut

In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla until thick, about 3 to 4 minutes. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to egg mixture and beat just until combined. In a saucepan, bring milk and butter to a boil, stirring constantly. Add to batter and beat until combined. Pour into a greased 13 in x 9 in.  x 2 in. baking pan. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Combine frosting ingredients, spread over warm cake. Broil lightly browned, about 3 to 4 minutes.

I
Easy as 123.... Chicken

Here is what is for supper!  I mixed 1/2 cup sour cream with the Cream of Chicken soup, added the Green Chilies, and then layed the chicken on top and kinda pushed it into the mixture. Then I did sprinkle it with garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese. Everything tastes better with garlic and Parmesan!  (well most things anyways)  I am going to cook it at 350 for about 45 min, with the cover on. You could sprinkle it with Cheddar Cheese if you like.

I am going to serve with a green salad, and cheese bread.... YUM!
Hope you enjoy it!
